Context:
We’re a geosynthetics supplier engaged on a pavement project in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Our geogrid-based pavement optimization is complete. A new issue has emerged: high WSS (water-soluble salts) in the subgrade/fill. The objective now is to solve the WSS problem using a geosynthetics-first strategy, leveraging our attached product catalogue.
Objective:
Assess salt chemistry/transport and its impact on pavement performance.
Design a WSS-tolerant solution prioritizing geosynthetics (barrier, separation, filtration, drainage, capillary control, reinforcement).
Deliver a submission-ready technical package for consultant approval and construction.
