Road Construction Design Engineer
Budget: $10 – $30 CAD
I’m in the early planning and design phase of a new road construction project and need a civil engineer who specialises in transport infrastructure. The assignment centres on turning my preliminary concept into a full set of design documents that meet local standards and are ready for authority submission and contractor pricing.
Key tasks include:
• Horizontal and vertical alignment design
• Preliminary and detailed drawings (AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar)
• Basic pavement thickness recommendations and material specs
• Drainage layout with catchment calculations
• Earthwork quantities and a high-level bill of quantities
• A short technical report summarising assumptions, design criteria and any risks or constraints discovered
I’ll supply the route corridor, survey data and traffic volumes as soon as we start. Please let me know your relevant road projects, preferred software version and an estimated timeline for the above deliverables.
