I need a rapid Plaxis 2D/3D run to check the factor of safety for a recent landslide site in Rishikesh. I will give you:
• Google Earth Pro KMZ with coordinates
• AutoCAD drawings of the slope geometry
• Access to a cracked Plaxis 2D/3D installer if you don’t already have the software
Scope (keep it lean and focused):
1. Import the geometry accurately into Plaxis.
2. Assign rough Himalayan soil properties—please work only with cohesion and friction angle; other parameters can stay default.
3. Run a simple shear-strength-reduction analysis and extract the factor of safety.
4. Provide contour plots and graphs that clearly illustrate potential failure surfaces and displacement trends.
I’m on a tight deadline for a research paper, so I need the initial results and visuals fast, ideally within the next day or two. If refinements are needed, we’ll iterate once.
