Geotechnical Site Supervision Needed
Budget: ₹750 – ₹1,250 INR
I’m entering the construction execution stage of my project and require a geotechnical-focused civil engineer to be on site, overseeing every ground-related activity. Your primary responsibility will be continuous site inspection and supervision to verify that excavation, backfilling, compaction, and foundation works strictly follow the design documents and local standards.
During daily walk-throughs you will:
• Observe and document soil conditions as work progresses.
• Flag any deviation from the approved geotechnical report and coordinate corrective actions with the contractor on the spot.
• Prepare concise inspection logs and a weekly summary that I can forward to the project owner and local authorities.
I rely on practical field tools—nuclear density gauges, plate load testers, dynamic cone penetrometers—so hands-on familiarity is expected. If you already use apps such as Fieldwire or Procore for reporting, that’s a plus; otherwise, clear PDF or Excel reports are fine.
Acceptance criteria
1. Daily log submitted before 8 p.m. local time with photo evidence.
2. Weekly report highlighting test results, non-conformities, and recommended actions.
3. Immediate notification (within one hour) of any safety-critical geotechnical issue.
The site is ready, so please confirm your earliest start date, relevant certifications, and preferred inspection schedule. I look forward to a smooth, professionally supervised build.
