Foundation Design & Approval - Licensed Structural Engineer

Structural Engineer Needed – Foundation Design + CO PE Stamp (Colorado PPRBD Code - ElPaso County Colorado)

Fountain, Colorado (El Paso County)
Site Address: 7698 Ronan Court, Fountain, CO 80817
Project Overview:
I’m installing a pre-engineered steel workshop that is 30x50x10 on my residential property and need a Colorado-licensed structural engineer to design and stamp a complete foundation plan for permit approval under the Pikes Peak Regional Building Department (PPRBD).
Scope of Work:
Design a 30x50x10 foundation system (slab-on-grade + footings)
Must meet PPRBD and IRC 2021 code requirements
Use assumed 2,000 psf bearing capacity (normal soil – previous geotech report on file with PPRBD)
Anchor Bolt Layout
Match Armstrong Steel’s engineered base plate drawings
(I will provide you PDF of full permit/stamped steel building set provided)
Structural Details to Include:
Footing dimensions
Frost depth (30" embedment)
#4 rebar grid in footings, #3 @ 24" O.C. in slab (per PPRBD)
Anchor bolt sizing, spacing, edge clearance, embedment
Vapor barrier, base prep, and slab details
Elevations/sections, general notes, and code references
Deliverables:
Full set of permit-ready structural foundation drawings
Wet stamp (digital or physical) from a Colorado-licensed PE
Help submit documents to PPRBD
Be available for minor corrections if requested by the PPRBD reviewer
I will Provided: Armstrong Steel permit/stamped structural drawings and
Site plan with workshop footprint shown
Foundation plan notes compliant with ACI 302, IRC, and PPRBD
Ideal Candidate:
Licensed PE in Colorado
Familiar with Pikes Peak Regional Building Department
Experience with pre-engineered metal buildings
Can turn around permit drawings quickly as I am overdue getting slab poured before building delivery

Your Colorado PE license number
Timeline to complete drawings
Example projects (esp. accessory buildings or PEMBs)
Whether you offer digital stamping
Fixed price or hourly estimate
