Commercial Screw Pile Design Needed

Job ID: 39878243

Budget: £250 – £750 GBP

I’m looking for an experienced structural / geotechnical engineer to create a complete screw-pile design for an existing commercial building.

Scope
• Size each pile, specify helix configuration, and detail spacing and layout for the foundation plan.
• Provide structural calculations that satisfy Eurocode 7 or BS 8004 (or equivalent) for axial, lateral, and uplift loads typical of a medium-rise commercial structure.
• Prepare concise drawings (PDF + editable CAD) and a specification sheet covering steel grade, galvanising, and installation torque targets.
• Supply an installation guide that our contractor can follow on-site.

Project context
The superstructure is a standard steel-frame commercial building. I will share architectural drawings, preliminary column loads, and whatever soil investigation data we have as soon as we start; you can flag any gaps that need clarification. If additional geotech assumptions are required, outline them clearly in your report.

Deliverables
1. Design report with signed calculations.
2. Foundation layout drawing (plan + typical details).
3. Bill of materials and torque-correlation chart.
4. Brief installation and testing procedure.

I value clear communication, fast turnaround, and practical, build-ready solutions. If you’ve successfully designed screw piles for commercial projects before and are comfortable working in software like PLAXIS, RISA, or similar, I’d like to collaborate with you.
