Analyze a dam profile, and report the x-y coordinates

I need a dam profile that someone has already established to be assigned x-y coordinates on the upper surface and on the native ground, including the starter dam. The figure currently exists as a pdf file and is attached. The figure includes a lot of colored area inside, but I don't need that. Just the top, bottom and starter dam.
