Project Overview:
Location: Twickenham, Fetakgomo Tubatse Local Municipality, Limpopo, South Africa
Goal: Electrify 153 households in Roka Mashabela extension and 318 households in the Modimolle/Tjate cluster
Project Requirements:
GIS Mapping: Generate a detailed local map indicating the nearest Eskom power sources to the project sites.
Data Analysis: Analyze existing spatial data to identify potential infrastructure constraints or challenges.
Route Planning: Assist in planning efficient and cost-effective routes for electrical grid extension.
Collaboration: Work closely with the project team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of GIS data and analysis.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) or a related field
Proven experience in GIS analysis and mapping
Proficiency in GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS)
Strong understanding of spatial data and analysis techniques
Knowledge of local geography and infrastructure in Limpopo, South Africa
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
