ESRI ArcGIS Pro Shapefile Polygon Creation
Budget: $30 – $250 CAD
Create a program that will work with a ESRI ArcGIS Pro shapefile that will read a line features and create polygon features using information from the attributes of the lines as direction for creating the polygons.
The placement of the polygons will be based on dividing the total line length by the [End_Photo]-[Start_Phot]+1, and the start point and end point will both have polygons created at this location and each of the midline calculated locations will have a polygon created. The polygon will have rotation equal to the direction of the line being converted such that the lines of the polygons created are perpendicular or parallel to the original line. The point determined along the line will be the centre of the polygon.
Each polygon will be four sided and the length of each side will be based on the attribute [Scale] x .225m.
For each polygon created all existing attributes for the line will be copied over and a new attribute for Photo Number [Photo_nu] will be added. The [Photo_nu] attribute will be based on the attribute [Start_Pho] for the first polygon created and be incremented by 1 for each polygon placed along the line.
