Build GIS Shapefiles from Historical Atlas Images
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
This project involves building a GIS shapefile (WGS84 coordinate system) with two map layers: first, a layer with labelled point features with precise location coordinates; second, a layer of labelled polygons denoting boundaries. The source files include two high-resolution scanned images from a historical atlas for the Indochina peninsula (Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam).
