ArcGIS Project Assistance
Budget: $25 – $50 AUD
I am looking for an ArcGIS expert who can assist me with map creation, coding, and graphical interfaces. The ideal candidate should have experience in both coding and graphical interfaces. Additionally, they should be familiar with working with specific data and standards, although only partially. This project requires a thorough understanding of ArcGIS and the ability to create visually appealing maps while adhering to specific data and standards.
We have gathered extensive geospatial data for a client relating to disability access of their location. We are aiming to produce a comprehensive report if the audit findings, along with a series of precinct maps (5 in total) that illustrate accessible routes and identify key points of interest within that precinct.
The right person will suit the following criteria:
1. Experience in utilising ArcGIS software for mapping projects, including data analysis and visualisation.
2. Knowledge in interpreting and working with geospatial data.
3. Ability to communicate effectively and translate complex information into clear and understandable maps.
4. Experience in mapping and analysing accessibility and/or urban planning projects.
5. Detail-oriented and proficient in managing and organising large amounts of data.
6. Able to work independently and adhere to project deadlines.
7. Strong problem-solving skills, able to troubleshoot issues that may arise during the mapping process.
8. Able to incorporate feedback and make necessary adjustments to the maps.
9. Must adhere strictly to confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements to protect our intellectual property and privacy. The hired individual will be dealing with sensitive data and login credentials, thus, trustworthiness and a strong ethical background are paramount.
10. Prior experience or willingness to undergo a background check is required, ensuring a secure and trustworthy working relationship.
11. Demonstrated understanding and commitment to data protection laws and standards.
Project timeframes: must be completed on or before Friday, 11 August.
