8th Grade Math & Lab Help
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I’m working through two assignments this week and would like a tutor who can guide me in real time, preferably over a shared whiteboard or screen-share. I need this done in an hour today.
First, I have geometry homework on dilations. I understand the idea in class, but I keep getting stuck when it’s time to solve the actual problems—scaling factors, center of dilation, coordinate proofs, the works. I need someone who can walk me through a few representative questions, show me how to set them up, and check my steps until the method sticks.
Second, I’ve finished gathering data for a middle-school science lab and now have to analyze the results. The experiment design and data collection are already done; what’s left is turning the raw numbers into organized tables or graphs and writing a clear explanation of what the results show. Guidance on selecting the right graph type, calculating averages or percentages, and phrasing the conclusion in proper lab-report style will be extremely helpful.
I’ll share the worksheet and lab packet before we meet so you can see exactly what the teacher expects. Looking forward to a patient coach who can keep the explanations simple, spot mistakes quickly, and leave me confident enough to finish the remaining problems on my own.
