Philippine Construction Site Geologic Assessment
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I need a licensed geologist based in the Philippines to carry out a full site assessment for a planned construction project. The focus is purely on understanding two critical factors before we break ground:
• Soil stability—classification of layers, bearing capacity estimates, and any recommendations for ground improvement, backed by field tests (standard penetration, cone penetration, or similar) and laboratory results.
• Seismic activity—evaluation of local fault proximity, expected peak ground acceleration, and design-level recommendations that align with the latest PHIVOLCS and NSCP guidelines.
Please include in your proposal:
1. A brief description of the investigative methods you intend to use.
2. A timeline from mobilization to final report.
3. A sample of a past geologic or geotechnical report (with sensitive data redacted).
Deliverable: a concise yet comprehensive written report in PDF format, complete with annotated site maps, raw data appendices, and clear engineering recommendations we can forward directly to our structural designer.
We only need minimal help.
