GIS Tree Mapping and Analysis
Budget: $15 – $25 AUD
We're seeking a skilled GIS freelancer for long-term work, including upcoming projects involving drone imagery analysis. This initial task assesses your ArcGIS skills & capabilities within a one-hour timeframe.
Initial Task (1-hour):
Analyze 2 blocks (your choice) from the attached KMZ files.
Deliver:
Tree counts & diameters per block.
PDF with block-level stats.
Maps: Elevation, Slope, Satellite imagery (past 3 years)
Requirements:
Strong ArcGIS proficiency.
Tree data extraction from satellite imagery.
Clear map & report creation.
Interest in ML & drone data potential.
Extract additional insights from publicly available data if possible.
ML/drone experience.
Long term we are looking at hiring additional staff for 20 hours a week for GIS work in various projects.
