GIS Specialist for Environmental Analysis
Budget: ₹75,000 – ₹150,000 INR
I’m looking to bring an experienced GIS professional (ideally 5–8 years) onto my team for roughly the next 2–3 months. The immediate focus is on environmental management ,urban planni work that requires:
• Spatial data analysis to uncover patterns and relationships impacting land-use decisions
• Terrain and elevation analysis to model slopes, watersheds, and other surface characteristics relevant to our ecological assessments
You’ll help me turn raw geospatial datasets into clear, actionable insights for field teams and stakeholders. Most of our legacy data sits in shapefiles and GeoTIFFs, so fluency in a mainstream desktop platform—ArcGIS Pro, QGIS, or MapInfo—will keep you productive from day one. If you prefer open-source tooling or have a mix-and-match workflow, that flexibility is welcome as long as it meets project deadlines.
Core deliverables over the engagement include:
1. Cleaned and documented geodatabase of source layers
2. Analytical maps and layer files for terrain-related indicators
3. A concise methods report outlining data inputs, processing steps, and key findings
I’m aiming for a straightforward, results-oriented collaboration with timely check-ins and shared progress via cloud storage or Git. If you have the right background and can start soon, let’s discuss the details.
