Teen EFL-History Study Unit

Job ID: 40018466

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I’m putting together an independent study unit that blends English as a Foreign Language techniques with engaging History content for teenagers (13 years). The end goal is to help learners deepen their historical knowledge while they strengthen their English skills, all in a format they can tackle on their own or with minimal teacher guidance.

Here’s what I need:
• 5 self-contained lessons centred on a clear historical theme or period - the Kindertransport
• Each lesson should include a short, level-appropriate reading passage, pre-reading vocabulary, short video to watch, comprehension tasks, and at least one higher-order activity that pushes students to analyse, compare, or reflect on events.
• Integrated EFL support—think glossaries, language tips, and targeted exercises that reinforce grammar or academic vocabulary drawn from the historical texts.
• A cumulative project (essay, presentation, or creative output) that lets students demonstrate content mastery and language growth.
• Straightforward assessment tools: answer keys, rubrics, and a brief guide explaining how to measure progress.
Some games
• Everything delivered in editable Genially

I’d love a resource that feels fresh and visually appealing but, most importantly, is practical for self-paced study. If you have relevant samples or ideas for interactive elements—audio clips, short quizzes, or simple infographics—please mention them when you respond.
