Interview U.S. Latino Service Workers - We Want to Hear Your English Story at Work!
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I’m running a small research project aimed at understanding how Latino workers in the U.S. service industry—think restaurants, hotels, retail, cleaning, ride-share and similar roles—navigate learning English on the job. I’m not testing your grammar or giving a placement test; I simply want to hear your personal story, the challenges you’ve faced, and the strategies that have (or haven’t) worked for you.
The conversation lasts about 45 minutes, takes place over Zoom or WhatsApp, is recorded for internal analysis only, and pays $15 per hour (prorated to the minute and released right after we finish).
To be considered, tell me a little about:
• The service-industry job you hold now (or held recently)
• Any prior experience participating in interviews, surveys, or focus groups
Deliverable
• One completed video or audio interview in which you share your English-learning experience
If you’re a Latino service worker living in the U.S. and this sounds interesting, send your brief experience note and preferred times, and I’ll get back to you to lock in a slot.
