Collecting the "geo-tagged corn/soybean photos" in Bahia, Brazil
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
Gather current field samples (pictures with geolocations - latitude and longitude) from corn/soybean fields in
Mato Grosso, Brazil. Photos can be taken by a phone camera (corn or soybean), and geolocation (of the
corn/soybean field, not the camera) can be extracted using Google maps or other similar products.
To participate in this project, you can submit at least 20 and at most 100 samples. A valid submission must
contain samples that meet the following criteria:
1. Each sample has 2~3 pics of the same field
2. One sample for one field
3. Sample should be homogenous (one crop per sample)
4. Neighboring samples should be at least 100 m apart.
5. The pictures should be taken with location-enabled in the camera app.
6. Each sample should have accompanying latitude, longitude coordinates, and the time an image was taken
of the actual field.
File submission: latitude & longitude coordinates (excel file or as a table), photos per sample (with taken
time), the captured image of google map (per sample) should indicate the sample location
