Trace Illegitimate Great-Grandfathers DNA

I have access to our full AncestryDNA match lists and am looking for a genetic genealogist who can help pinpoint the identities of two elusive men: my great-grandfather (father of my grandmother) and my husband’s great-grandfather (father of his grandfather). Both children were born outside of marriage, so no father was recorded on their birth documents.

What I can supply
• Raw match data, shared-match lists, and any notes I’ve already made in AncestryDNA
• Existing online trees for the maternal branches
• Birthplaces and dates for the two illegitimate children, plus any family stories that might provide clues

What I need from you
Analyse the AncestryDNA results, build out targeted “quick and dirty” trees for significant matches, and follow the paper trail far enough to propose the most likely candidate for each unknown great-grandfather. When you have a solid hypothesis, I’d like a concise genealogy report—just a basic overview that names the key ancestors and explains the DNA logic that links them to us. No lengthy biographies are necessary, but the reasoning behind each conclusion should be clear and supported by segment data or shared-match clustering.

Deliverable
• PDF genealogy report (one for each great-grandfather) summarising findings, DNA evidence, and the paper-trail links.

Acceptance criteria
1. Each report identifies a single most-supported candidate (or states clearly if the evidence is still inconclusive).
2. Every assertion is backed by match numbers, relationship estimates, or documentary proof.
3. The research path is reproducible so I can follow up if new matches appear later.
