DNA Analysis for Croatian Origins
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I am an adoptee from Switzerland looking to find out who his biological father is. I have tested at every imaginable DNA service (with only 8 matches over 50 cM). Most of them point to Croatia, maybe Slovenia. I have been to archives, exhausted familytree.com and done many more things, such as going door to door in the town with the most matches and asking people to test.
I am looking for someone with *demonstrable* deep Croatia / Balkans *DNA* analysis experience to look at my results and propose a way forward. I am not looking for traditional records-based genealogy, as I have that covered well. If you additionally know about traditional genealogy, it does not hurt, but this is not what I am looking for, I am looking for the DNA piece.
This is for the initial analysis of my available data, and to pinpoint a) possible populations / peoples that my biological father might have belonged to and b) areas/names/families to test more. Please clearly demonstrate and document what experience you have in analytics of Croatian/Balkan DNA for genealogic purposes. If you don't have significant experience in this field, you are not who I need for this project.
