AI-Driven Ad Video Editor

I need a custom, GenAI-powered video editor that streamlines the creation of commercial advertisements. The goal is to cut turnaround time on promo spots by letting the software handle the heavy lifting—everything from analysing raw footage and suggesting the strongest takes, to generating eye-catching transitions and brand-ready exports in popular social-media aspect ratios.

Because these clips will be used in paid campaigns, export quality must hold up at 1080p (ideally 4K) and the interface has to feel as intuitive as the mainstream timeline-based editors my team already knows. I’m happy to build on top of existing open-source libraries (FFmpeg, MoviePy, or similar) as long as we can layer in GenAI models for smart scene detection, auto-enhancement and text/logo treatments.

Acceptance criteria
1. Import, trim, reorder and preview footage without noticeable lag on a mid-range computer.
2. One-click export that meets YouTube & Meta ad specs (H.264, max 30 fps, 8 Mbps).
3. GenAI assistance demonstrably improves cut selection or effect placement (side-by-side test).
4. Final build passes a quick security audit—no outbound calls beyond the AI model APIs we approve.
