48 mm Gas Pipe Reconnection

Job ID: 39991790

Budget: £20 – £250 GBP

I’ve got a 48 mm natural-gas heating pipe in our commercial workshop that was disconnected during recent building works. The gas feed is safely turned off and the run is still largely exposed, behind some racking in a warhouse.

What I need now is a competent, commercially qualified gas fitter to:

• cut in and install a new joint on the existing 48 mm line,
• reconnect and secure the pipework to current regulations,
• pressure-test, purge, and certify the installation so we can bring the workshop heaters back online.

Standard safety measures for a workshop environment are all that’s required—no unusual hazards are present. Because the supply is already isolated, you can work on a dead line without arranging an additional shut-down.

When you reply, please let me know:
• your Gas Safe registration number (or equivalent local licence),
• the earliest date you could be on site,
• how long you expect the job—including testing and paperwork—to take,
• and your all-in price for labour, fittings, and certification.

The faster we can get reliable heat back in the building, the better, so I’m looking forward to comparing your timeline and quote.
