Front Verge Rake & Reseed
Budget: $250 – $750 AUD
The verge in my front yard needs a proper refresh after the recent works done on the curb. I’ve cleared most large items already, but the soil is still uneven and the existing grass is patchy.
Here’s what I need completed:
• Lightly rake the surface soil, removing any loose stones or clumps.
• Use an appropriate roller or board to flatten and level the area so it blends smoothly with the surrounding lawn.
• Apply a thin layer of fresh topsoil where necessary, then overseed the entire verge. I’m not set on a particular variety—please recommend a grass seed suited to the local climate and traffic (cool-season or warm-season, whichever will thrive best).
The job is limited to the front yard only; no work is required in the back. If you feel a quick mow, leaf tidy-up, or debris haul-off would improve the finish, let me know and we can add that as an extra. Final deliverable is a smooth, evenly seeded verge ready for regular watering.
