Discord Server Expert Needed

Job ID: 38767928

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

Milestone 1: Server Structure, Role Hierarchy, and Permissions Setup
Objective: Establish the foundational roles, permissions, and initial channel structure to align with the guild’s organizational hierarchy.

Tasks:

Server Role Hierarchy:
Set up Leader, Advisor, Guardian, and Member roles with permissions that reflect their respective guild functions.
In-Game Roles:
Configure Tank, Healer, and DPS roles for members to select, facilitating event organization.
Channel Categories and Initial Setup:
Organize channels into categories: Guild Info, Applications, Events, Communication, Voice Channels, and Administration.
Assign permissions for each role within channels, ensuring access is appropriate for each rank (e.g., only leaders and advisors can post in certain channels).
General Permissions:
Set server-wide notifications to mentions only to avoid overwhelming members.
Ensure foundational permissions for each role and channel are properly configured, laying the groundwork for future system integrations.
Deliverable: A structured Discord server with roles, permissions, and categories set up according to guild hierarchy, creating a foundation for further features.

Milestone 2: Application System and Member Onboarding Automation
Objective: Implement application channels and automated onboarding to streamline new member and Guardian recruitment processes.

Tasks:

Guild Info and Application Channels:
Guild Info Channel: Visible to everyone, including non-members, containing information such as guild vision, mission, server information, active hours, and membership requirements. Only Leaders and Advisors can post here.
Member Application Channel: Visible to potential members, where they can post a picture of their in-game character, showing stats, nickname, and server. Only the Leader and Advisors have the authority to approve or deny applications.
Guardian Application Channel: Separate channel for Guardian applicants, allowing for role-specific applications.
Automated Onboarding System:
Integrate a bot to manage the onboarding process:
Upon approval, direct new members to a Welcome channel.
Provide access to only "welcome," "get-role," and "rules" channels initially.
Require members to acknowledge rules and select their in-game role to gain full server access, keeping other channels hidden until onboarding is completed.
Ensure new members understand the server structure and requirements through automated guidance.
Deliverable: A functional application and onboarding system where prospective members can apply, and accepted members are guided through a bot-managed onboarding process to access the server.

Milestone 3: Event Management System
Objective: Create an efficient event management system to organize, announce, and handle guild events with automated sign-up and role restrictions.

Tasks:

Event Creation Permissions:
Set permissions to allow Leader, Advisors, and Guardians to create events like RAID bosses, dungeon parties, arena battles, world boss events, and territorial PvP. Guardians are restricted from creating RAID bosses and territorial PvP events.
Event Announcement and Sign-Up Channels:
Event Announcement Channel: For posting event details; only Leader, Advisors, and Guardians can post here. Members can react to posts.
Event Sign-Up Channel: A bot should automatically mirror announcements from the Event Announcement channel to the Event Sign-Up channel.
Automated Role Restrictions: For events with role-specific needs (e.g., one healer per dungeon party), the bot should enforce role limits, notifying members if a needed slot is filled.
Event Calendar Integration:
Implement a calendar (ideally synced with the in-game calendar) to help members plan for scheduled events and keep track of upcoming activities.
Deliverable: An event management system with announcement, sign-up, and role restrictions managed by a bot, allowing structured participation in guild events.

Milestone 4: Bot Integration for Engagement, Utility, and Moderation
Objective: Enhance server functionality and member engagement through bot integrations, including leveling, translation, and anti-spam measures.

Tasks:

Engagement Bots:
Leveling Bot: Tracks member engagement levels, helping identify potential Guardians based on activity. Members can check their level with a command.
Music Bot: Provides background music in multiple voice channels simultaneously, allowing members to play music via commands.
Throne and Liberty Update Bot: Automated updates on game-related news; only the Leader can post if needed.
Translator Bot: Provides translations to facilitate communication between English and Spanish-speaking members.
Moderation and Security Bots:
Anti-Spam Bot: Implement spam prevention measures to limit excessive posts and block long, spammy messages. Configure rules to prevent obscene or violent content and block invites to other servers.
Bot Role Management: Assign all bots to a single “bot” role for streamlined management and permissions.
Anonymous Reports Channel: Set up an anonymous reporting system for members to report toxic behavior, viewable only by Leader and Advisors.
Change Log Channel: Tracks and logs all administrative changes in the server for transparency; only visible to leadership.
Deliverable: A server with enhanced functionality, member engagement tools, and moderation measures through various bot integrations.

Milestone 5: Specialized Voice and Text Channels Setup, Final Testing, and Documentation
Objective: Set up voice channels with member limits and text channels with access restrictions, followed by server testing and final documentation.

Tasks:

Voice Channels Configuration:
Event-Specific Channels:
Raid Boss Party: Restricted access with invitations only from Leader or Advisors.
World Boss Party (Peace and Conflict): Accessible to everyone without member limits.
Dungeon Channels (Shadowed Crypt, Syleus' Abyss, Sanctum of Desire, Saurodoma Island): Two instances per dungeon, limited to 8 members per instance.
Chill Channels: Open access with no member limit.

Adjust configurations as needed based on test results.

Deliverable: Finalized server with fully configured voice and text channels, tested for functionality, and delivered with a comprehensive guide for ongoing management.
