Sokoban Steam Game Testing Needed
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
My Sokoban-style puzzle game is heading to Steam in about a month, and I want every move to feel smooth before launch. I need a detail-minded tester to install the current Windows build, play through all available levels, and look at the experience with fresh eyes.
Beyond the usual hunt for crashes or graphical glitches, I’m primarily looking for insight into user experience: Does the difficulty ramp feel fair? Are the controls and tutorial clear? Is the level-reset mechanic snappy enough to keep the flow? Any moment of frustration, confusion, or delight you feel is exactly what I want to hear about.
Deliverables
• A concise test report listing any bugs (with steps to reproduce, screenshots or video if helpful).
• A written assessment of the game’s overall feel and flow, including specific suggestions for improving UX, pacing, and puzzle clarity.
• Your completed save file or progress log to confirm full coverage of the current content.
Acceptance Criteria
I’ll consider the job complete once I can replicate reported issues from your notes and have a clear, actionable set of UX recommendations.
You’re free to use your preferred capture or reporting tools; just keep the output organized and easy to follow. If this sounds like your kind of challenge, I’ll send over the Steam key and build notes so you can start right away.
