A developer to create a Gameboy game endless runner
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
We’re looking for a developer who can:
• Build a Game Boy–style game (actual ROM format, plus browser/mobile version)
• Create custom pixel art sprites based on provided reference imagery
• Implement simple input mechanics (e.g., one-button control, score tracking)
• Integrate supplied assets like fonts, logos, and audio in a clean, playable loop
• Translate artistic direction into functional in-game moments (e.g., visual triggers, animation states)
• Ensure compatibility with both original hardware and emulator-based hosting
• Deliver final ROM and web build, ideally with light polish and guidance for hosting
The game is part of a wider music/visual identity project, so attention to mood, timing, and tone is key. All narrative, character, and world-building elements are already developed — your job is bringing that world to life in playable form.
