Two-Player Online Solitaire Variant
Budget: $2 – $8 USD
I have designed a fresh two-player twist on classic solitaire and documented every rule in detail. All art, card faces, icons, and sounds are ready for you; what I need is the full front-to-back build so the game can run smoothly in any modern web browser.
Scope of work
• Code the entire game in plain HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, keeping the look-and-feel true to a Classic card table.
• Support two human players over the internet; if a second player is not available, the game should fall back to a competent computer opponent.
• Present the layout in 2-D, similar to Spider Solitaire, with animated but lightweight interactions so it performs well on desktop and mobile browsers alike.
• Package, minify, and upload all files to the VPS I will provide. Once I register the domain in the next few days, you will just need to point it to the existing server path so the game becomes publicly playable.
Acceptance criteria
1. Gameplay follows my written rule set precisely (I will share a PDF on award).
2. Browser compatibility: current Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge.
3. Multiplayer lobby and matchmaking work over standard WebSocket or equivalent.
4. Offline mode seamlessly replaces player two with AI.
5. Assets load via relative paths so future domain changes require no code edits.
