Splatoon 3 Gameplay Enhancement Plugin Development
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I'm seeking a developer to create a gameplay enhancement plugin for Splatoon 3 on Nintendo Switch. The project involves developing a self-contained plugin that adds optional gameplay features through a clean interface.
Project Overview
I need a plugin that integrates with Splatoon 3 on Nintendo Switch running Atmosphère CFW. The plugin should provide a toggleable menu accessible via a custom button combination that allows users to enable or disable specific gameplay enhancements without restarting the game.
Key Features Required
Player tracking visualization system that displays player positions through an overlay
Camera assistance system to help with targeting during gameplay
Clean menu interface for toggling features
Stable performance without impacting frame rate
Technical Requirements
Must work with current Splatoon 3 version
Should integrate cleanly with Atmosphère (or comparable CFW)
Menu accessible via custom button combo
No game restarts required to toggle features
Compatible with all game modes (Turf War, Ranked, Lobby)
Deliverables
Compiled plugin compatible with current Splatoon 3 build
Source files and build documentation for future updates
Installation guide covering SD card setup and required modules
Documentation for the button sequence to access the menu
Acceptance Criteria
Menu loads in all game modes without crashes
All features maintain normal game performance
No hard locks or FPS drops during gameplay
Clean integration that doesn't interfere with normal game functions
Ability to update after game patches with minimal changes
Optional Enhancement
I'm also interested in implementing a licensing system for distribution:
User authentication system
License key generation and management
Subscription-based access with expiration
Basic protection against unauthorized sharing
Developer Requirements
Experience with Nintendo Switch homebrew development
Familiarity with Atmosphère plugins or similar systems
I'd prefer if you had access to a Nintendo Switch and Splatoon 3 for testing
Understanding of game memory structures and plugin development
If you have experience with similar projects, please provide examples of your work. I have an NSO file from a previous version of this project that I have attached to be viewed and downloaded. The dev stopped making updates for it and you would most likely have to reverse engineer it to get anything out of it but if you could then that could most definitely be used as a baseline.
