Realistic Game-Ready 3D Character
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I need a fully-realized 3D character built for a video-game environment. The style must be strictly realistic, matching current AAA game standards while still being optimized for real-time performance. High-fidelity anatomical accuracy, believable materials, and clean edge flow are critical; the final model should drop straight into Unreal Engine or Unity without additional cleanup.
Typical workflows that suit this job include sculpting in ZBrush or Mudbox, retopology and UVs in Blender, Maya or 3ds Max, and physically based texturing with Substance Painter or Designer. Feel free to use equivalent tools as long as the output meets the specs below.
Deliverables (all items are required)
• High-poly sculpt (ZTL or equivalent)
• Optimized low-poly mesh (FBX) holding around 60–70 k tris, clean quads where possible
• Non-overlapping UVs and named texture sets
• PBR texture pack (4K base color, normal, metallic, roughness, AO) in PNG/TGA
• Simple A-pose rig with skin weights that pass basic deformation tests in engine
• One turntable render plus real-time viewport screenshots demonstrating fidelity and performance targets
Acceptance criteria
• No visible texture seams or stretching at 4K
• Model imports into Unreal 5 with zero errors and averages 60 fps on a mid-range GPU
• All files open without missing dependencies
Once these checkpoints are met and the files pass a quick in-engine inspection, the milestone is complete.
