Phaser Planet Drag-and-Drop Game
Budget: $10 – $30 CAD
I need a small, browser-based educational game built with Phaser that lets players drag each planet into its correct orbital slot. When a planet snaps into place, its associated image should enlarge briefly and a short audio clip must play explaining a key fact about it. The flow and mechanics should look and feel like the segment shown between 30:00-35:00 in the linked video, but with cleaner, slightly more polished visuals.
All code has to be pure JavaScript/TypeScript on top of Phaser 3, run smoothly on modern desktop browsers and scale neatly to mobile screens; I will test on both. I already have some vector art and audio, yet I’m happy to upgrade or replace assets where it truly lifts the experience, so asset scope can be finalised together.
Minimum acceptance criteria
• Planets are draggable and magnetically snap only to their correct slot
• Correct placement triggers the matching audio clip and image highlight without lag
• Layout adapts to common desktop resolutions and mobile portrait/landscape
• Game starts, plays and resets with no console errors in Chrome, Firefox, Safari and mobile browsers
• Source code, asset folder and a brief README explaining build/run steps are delivered
Whether you are polishing your Phaser skills or already seasoned, clean, readable code and a lightweight final build are what matter most here.
