Linux MMO RPG Server Creation
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I'm seeking a proficient game developer to create a Linux-based server for my upcoming MMO (Massively Multiplayer Online) Role-Playing Game (RPG) from scratch.
Here is what I expect from the server:
1. The server should handle between 1,000 and 5,000 simultaneous.
2. I believe the server's compatibility is Linux (at least that's how it is for version 1.5.5).
Skills and Experience:
- Extensive experience with server-side programming.
- Proficiency in MMO RPG development.
- Prior experience in building game servers tailored for Linux.
- Sound understanding of networking concepts to devise lag-free, robust servers.
--------------------------------------
I've got graphic development skills, but programming is not my forte. I'm currently working on developing a private server of the game Perfect World International. Obviously finding the client files are easy, but finding the matching server files are not.
Ideally I'm looking to have version 1.6.4 developed, but I am also okay with 1.6.2 or 1.5.7.
If it helps a tall, the below attachment is a link to a rage zone forum of the game. Timeline and budget are flexible. I just put in a random number so that I could submit this, so pay it no mind.
