Install N64 Showdown 64 Mod
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I’ve just bought a new Windows laptop and I also own an LZAKMR Retro Game Console X8 Play Retro (I3-3110M, 1 TB, Batocera + Windows with pre-loaded games). What I want is simple: turn WWF No Mercy into the “Showdown 64” mod and have it launch with a single click—on the laptop, on the console, or ideally on both.
I’m a total beginner with computers; I only know from a YouTube tutorial that the whole setup can be done in about fifteen minutes with one download, but I’d rather pay someone who already knows the ropes. If remote setup is easier, I’m happy to screen-share. If a pre-configured ROM/emulator bundle makes more sense, just send me the link and guide me through plugging it in. I’m based in Washington DC, so meeting locally is possible, but online help is fine too.
Key things I need from you
• Supply or locate the correct Showdown 64 mod files and any required patches
• Configure an emulator that runs smoothly on both devices (Project64, RetroArch, Batocera, or whichever you recommend)
• Map controls so they match my existing Xbox-style USB gamepad
• Leave me with a ready-to-play shortcut and a brief “read-me” in plain language so I can reinstall if needed
Acceptance check: the game boots without errors, menus show the Showdown 64 content, and I can start a match and play for at least five minutes with no slowdown.
