Infinite Lives Multiplayer Add-On

Job ID: 40579328

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I want to turn the single-player Steam title “Infinite Lives” into a true community hub by adding a Windows-based dedicated-server option. My goal is simple: let anyone spin up their own lobby—up to roughly 100-128 players—so my circle of comic creators (and the wider player base) can jump in, chat, and hang out on a persistent world we control.

Key features I need baked in: full in-game text chat, solid admin tools for kicking, muting or whitelisting users, and a straightforward Steam workshop-style install so the add-on feels native to Infinite Lives. I’m leaning toward a general “server” style mode rather than a fixed co-op or competitive ruleset; as long as the framework supports both, I can script or mod the specifics later.

Deliverables
• A Windows-compatible dedicated-server executable or mod package that plugs into the current Infinite Lives build on Steam
• Player capacity reliably scaled to 100–128 concurrent users with reasonable performance on commodity hardware
• In-game chat window tied to the server, along with mute, kick, ban and user-level permission controls accessible to admins
• Clear setup docs plus a step-by-step guide for others in my group to host their own instances

Acceptance criteria
• Server runs for 24-hour stress test with 100+ bots/players without critical crashes
• Admin commands function from both console and in-game UI
• Client connect/disconnect flow works through normal Steam friends/join flow, no external launcher required

If you have experience modding Unity or Unreal titles on Steam and can deliver a rock-solid server layer, let’s talk timelines and milestones.
