BG3 Hunter Mod Crash & Abilities
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
The Hunter class and its seven Solo-Leveling–inspired subclasses are already registered and visible in Baldur’s Gate 3 character creation, but the game refuses to load because of an incorrect Stats file configuration. Before I move on to the remaining subclasses, I need the Sung Jin-Woo branch fully functional so it can serve as a template for the rest.
Here’s what I need you to handle in this first phase:
• Diagnose the Stats *.txt entries that are throwing the startup error and get the game launching cleanly.
• Wire every ability for the Sung Jin-Woo subclass—passives, spells and boosts—exactly as laid out in the design handbook. The passives must (1) boost core character stats, (2) grant new special abilities and (3) provide specific resistances or immunities.
• Integrate custom subclass icons using the supplied portrait atlas and make sure they render in-game and in the Mod Manager.
• Package the finished build into a tested, ready-to-drop-in .pak and confirm it loads with BG3 Mod Manager on a fresh profile.
Assets provided: complete LSX source (ClassDescriptions, Progressions, Localization), detailed ability handbook and high-resolution portrait textures.
You’ll need solid BG3 modding knowledge—LSX editing, Stats sheet structuring, LSLib packing, and the usual BG3 Mod Manager workflow. Familiarity with Osiris scripting is a plus for future phases, but not required for this sprint.
If the game boots without crashing, the Sung Jin-Woo subclass appears with working passives, spells and boosts, and all icons display properly in both UI and character sheets, the milestone is complete.
