Game Dev Project
Budget: €1,500 – €3,000 EUR
PLEASE READ THE WHOLE PROJECT DESCRIPTION - GENERIC REPLIES WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED
We are developing a tool that generates architecture assets in blender - form, interior structures and textures (for example generated city see attached image).
We are looking for a game developer (ideally a technical artist) who will use our tool to create an urban game. The purpose of this game is for us to show the capabilities of the tool rather than be sold in stores (but that would be a plus). Aside from the fact that the game should take place within an urban environment (populated by assets generated from our tool), we do not have any specific game constraints and would like you to propose a cool concept.
A key reason for this job is so we can incorporate your feedback into our tool development, therefore we expect to have 4 feedback sessions: you use the tool, identify areas for development (both technical and functionality), we improve the tool, you re-use the tool, etc.
After these feedback sessions you would use the improved tool to create the final game - again, it's not critical that it's ready-to-sell but rather can serve as a great example of how our tool can be used in a real game - something impressive, creative and good for our PR.
At the moment, the focus of the tool is on realism (a sample generated city is shown in the uploaded files) but it can also make more stylistic results and therefore we are interested in how you would approach this project.
To be considered: please send us your idea, if it seems interesting and applicable to our goals (i.e. tool development) we will have an interview where we show you the tool and discuss your qualifications / portfolio.
Cheers!
