First-Person Survival Horror Game
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I want to release a tightly focused first-person survival horror experience and I need a game developer who can take the concept from blank project to playable build within roughly four weeks. The goal is a short but polished title where tension comes from exploration, limited resources, and smart enemy AI rather than jump-scare spam.
Unreal Engine or Unity is fine—as long as the end result runs smoothly on a mid-range Windows PC and showcases good lighting, spatial audio, and basic save/load functionality. I already have a few thematic ideas and reference titles (Resident Evil 7, Outlast) and can supply mood boards, but I’m relying on you for level layout, scripting, and mechanical implementation.
Deliverables
• Playable PC build (installer or zipped folder)
• Project/source files with clear folder structure
• One-page control & asset attribution document
I’ll test each milestone and give feedback quickly so we stay on track for the four-week deadline. If this scope excites you, let me know which engine you prefer and link to at least one horror or atmospheric project you’ve shipped.
