Experienced Developer for Interactive LED Game Floor System
Budget: $5,000 – $10,000 USD
We are looking for a highly skilled developer to design and implement a complete control system for interactive LED game floors (such as "Super Grid", "Mega Grid", or "Floor Is Lava" types, commonly found from Chinese manufacturers on platforms like Alibaba).
Only candidates with proven experience in developing or programming these specific types of LED floor games will be considered.
Your Responsibilities
Design and develop the entire software stack for the LED floor game system, including:
Core game logic
Control application (for PC/tablet/touch panel)
Graphic assets and user interface
Communication protocols with hardware (LED tiles, sensors, controllers)
Integrate with hardware components:
Addressable LED tiles with pressure sensors (typically 256 or more tiles)
Central controller (microcontroller or industrial PC)
Optional: touch screens, wall buttons, projectors
Implement and optimize LED animations and real-time game responses
Ensure system reliability and scalability
Required Experience
Direct, hands-on experience with interactive LED floor games (Super Grid, Mega Grid, Floor Is Lava, or similar)
Strong knowledge of:
Microcontroller platforms (Arduino Mega, STM32, ESP32, Raspberry Pi)
Programming languages: C/C++, Python, MicroPython
LED control libraries (FastLED, Adafruit NeoPixel, DMX, SPI protocols)
Game logic development for custom hardware
Integration with PC (Windows/Linux) via C#, Python, or JavaScript (Electron)
User interface development (C#, Java, HTML5/JavaScript)
Experience with custom communication protocols and hardware integration
Ability to create or integrate graphical assets for the game interface
Nice to Have
Experience with industrial control systems
Familiarity with open-source and DIY LED game projects
Ability to provide references or portfolio of similar projects
