DualSense Adaptive Trigger Integration -- 2
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m building a PlayStation 5 experience and the heart of it will be the DualSense controller’s Adaptive Triggers. My priority is to give players variable resistance that changes on-the-fly, matching in-game actions so the pull of the trigger instantly feels heavier or lighter as situations evolve.
Here’s what I need: code that taps into Sony’s Adaptive Trigger API (or the equivalent middleware you’re comfortable with) and exposes clear parameters for resistance levels I can call from inside my game loop. The rest of the controller features are already handled, so your focus can stay squarely on the triggers.
Deliverable
• A clean, well-commented module or plugin that lets me set, update, and reset trigger resistance dynamically during gameplay.
• A quick demo scene showing the feature in action, plus brief instructions so I can drop the module into my existing project.
If you’ve already worked with PS5 dev kits or implemented DualSense haptics before, let me know—your previous insight will speed things up.
