Daz3D Hairy Character to UE5
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
I already have a fully-rigged, strand-based hairy humanoid built and animated in Daz3D. What I need now is a clean migration into Unreal Engine 5 so the same model—complete with its groom hair system—behaves identically inside Sequencer.
The job breaks down into three concrete goals:
• Import the character as a skeletal mesh in UE5, keeping the strand-based hair as a groom asset with correct physics and shading.
• Transfer the existing walking cycle and several bespoke custom animations from Daz so they play with accurate bone orientations and root motion.
• Set up an example Sequencer shot where the character follows a spline path, proving that the animations blend correctly along the track.
I will provide the Daz project, FBX exports, and the original animation files. Delivery is an Unreal Engine 5 project (or a clean content folder) ready to drop into my main production build, plus brief notes on any plugins or settings you changed so I can replicate the workflow next time.
