DayZ Functional Mod Structure Support

Job ID: 40314110

Budget: $8 – $15 AUD

I’ve taken my DayZ project as far as I can and now need an extra set of expert hands to tidy up and finalise the functional mod structures. The core job is restructuring the files for doors, gates, containers and other interactable pieces so the game reads them cleanly. Once the hierarchy is solid, I also want the associated configs compiled without warnings and a couple of textures tweaked so they sit naturally alongside vanilla assets.

I already have the rough models, textures and a working test server. What’s missing is the polish that comes from someone who knows DayZ Tools, Addon Builder, PBO Manager and the usual texturing workflow inside out. If you can show previous experience with structure-heavy DayZ mods (or similar Bohemia titles) and you’re comfortable troubleshooting rpt errors, you’re exactly who I need.

Deliverables
• Reorganised “Addons” folder with clear, functional structure
• Clean, compiled config.cpp / config.bin that loads without errors or warnings
• One or two sample textures adjusted and re-exported to confirm the pipeline works
• Short write-up (can be plain text) outlining what you changed and why, so I can keep building confidently on your work

Send a quick note about the DayZ or Arma projects you’ve already touched—experience is the main thing I’ll look at. I’m ready to start as soon as I find the right fit.
