Custom Minecraft Origin Mod

Job ID: 40271655

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

Project Description

I’m developing a Minecraft Fabric mod (version 1.20.1) that extends the Origins mod by adding custom Origins. I already have the complete design for each Origin — including the concept, abilities, strengths, and drawbacks. I’m looking for a skilled Fabric/Origins modder to implement these Origins exactly as specified. My long-term goal is to add 20+ custom Origins, but I want to start by hiring someone to implement one Origin as a test project. If the quality is excellent, this will turn into ongoing paid work.

Scope of Initial Task (Phase 1) Implement one fully designed custom Origin, provided by me, including: Origin definition (JSON and/or code as required), All required powers, conditions, and actions, Proper registration so the Origin appears in the selection menu, Behavior that exactly matches the provided specifications, Full compatibility with Minecraft Fabric 1.20.1 and the Origins mod, No design or balancing work is required — implementation only.

Technical Requirements: Minecraft Fabric 1.20.1, Proven experience with the Origins mod framework Comfortable implementing: Passive and active powers, Conditions, Entity actions and modifiers, Clean, well-structured, reusable implementation

Deliverables: One fully functional custom Origin for Fabric 1.20.1, All source files (JSON / Java if applicable), Brief documentation explaining: File structure, Any non-obvious logic, How values can be adjusted later

Future Work - If this first Origin meets expectations, I plan to commission: Many additional Origins (20+ total), Ongoing implementation work as the mod expands, This is intended to be a long-term working relationship.

Ideal Freelancer: Experience modding Minecraft Fabric, Prior work with Origins or similar mods, Able to follow detailed specs precisely, Clear communication and reliable turnaround

Nice to have (not required): GitHub or portfolio with Fabric/Origins examples.

In case it wasn't clear - I am looking for the mod, not a data pack.
