Complete Sci-Fi PC Game Development
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m commissioning a full-cycle production of a story-driven sci-fi game for Windows PC and need a partner who can take the concept from a blank page to a polished, store-ready build. While I value compelling characters, striking art and atmospheric audio, nothing matters more than rock-solid, silky-smooth gameplay; every design and technical choice should protect frame-rate stability, low input latency and a bug-free user experience.
Scope of work
You’ll handle narrative development, core and meta-game design, programming, 3D/2D art creation, animation, visual effects, sound, music and final optimisation. The engine, middleware and pipelines are up to you—whether that means Unreal Engine with C++ and Blueprints, Unity with C#, or a proprietary toolset—as long as you can demonstrate you can keep performance high on mid-tier gaming rigs.
Key milestones & deliverables
• High-level game design document and visual target boards
• Playable vertical slice that proves the core loop and performance targets
• Alpha with all major systems integrated
• Beta focused on polish, balancing and bug fixing
• Release Candidate / Gold Master ready for distribution
• Source code, editable project files, asset library and build instructions
Acceptance criteria
The shipped build must hit 60 fps on a typical gaming PC (i5/Ryzen 5, GTX 1660 class), pass a full QA regression sweep with zero critical defects, and include complete documentation so future updates can be tackled in-house.
If your team lives and breathes sci-fi and has shipped titles of similar scale, let’s discuss your approach, timeline and how you’ll keep every frame buttery smooth.
