Cabal EP33 Server Dev Partner

Job ID: 40073649

Budget: €2 – €6 EUR

I run an established Cabal Online Episode 33 private server and need a reliable developer who can stay with me for the long haul. The immediate roadmap is clear: add fresh game features, design seasonal or thematic custom events, and refine the existing UI so it feels modern without losing the classic Cabal touch.

While we build, I also want nagging issues stamped out—especially the quirks in gameplay mechanics that break skill chains or quest logic, and the random stability drops that appear under heavy load. Smooth play is non-negotiable, so deep optimisation is part of the brief: shave response times, improve load-balancing across channels, and tighten up heavy database queries.

You should already be comfortable working inside the Cabal EP33 server files, tweaking source where available, and handling typical toolchains (C/C++, SQL, packet-log analysis, and live patch deployment). I’ll provide test hardware and direct SSH/RDP access; you’ll push to Git so we can track every change.

Deliverables will be handed off in small milestones—feature branch, test build, then live merge once we both sign off that:
• the new feature or event works on a clean client,
• no fresh crashes or exploits are introduced, and
• performance metrics match or beat current baselines.

If you enjoy continuous development, know Cabal’s internals, and can document as you go, let’s talk and start shipping improvements right away.
