Build Small Unity Horror Game

Job ID: 40290009

Budget: $50 – $100 USD

The concept is a compact survival-horror experience set inside a single abandoned building, presented entirely in third-person. I want to start from a blank Unity LTS project and arrive at a short, fully playable slice that shows off atmosphere, tension, and core mechanics.

Core goals
• Environment: one detailed, eerie abandoned structure with a few explorable floors and rooms.
• Gameplay loop: explore, scavenge, avoid or escape a lurking AI threat, manage a limited-life flashlight, and reach an exit.
• Third-person controller: smooth movement, crouch, sprint, simple climbing where sensible.
• Interaction: doors, drawers, notes, and collectible keys or batteries.
• Audio & lighting: dynamic shadows, creaks, distant footsteps, and a minimal soundtrack that swells when danger is near.

Deliverables
– Unity project folder, cleanly organised and fully commented
– Windows desktop build (EXE) plus Android APK if mobile controls are already supported
– A short “how to play” text and one-page technical hand-off document
– Source assets that are free for commercial use or created by you

Acceptance criteria
1. Scene loads without errors or missing references.
2. Player can reach a win condition and trigger a credits screen.
3. Enemy pursues, damages, and can defeat the player.
4. Frame-rate holds 60 fps on a mid-range PC.

Fresh freelancers are welcome; clarity of code and steady progress updates matter more to me than a long résumé. If you enjoy crafting tense spaces and can stick to a small, manageable scope, let’s get this haunted hallway lit and lurking.
