Whimsical Fantasy Environment Assets
Budget: €30 – €250 EUR
I’m building a light-hearted (mobile) fantasy game for children and need a cohesive pack of cartoonish environment assets to bring the world to life. Think bright colors, exaggerated shapes, and a touch of magic rather than gritty realism. Floating islands, oversized mushrooms, glowing crystals, and charming buildings are some of the visual cues I have in mind, but I’m happy to hear your creative suggestions as long as everything feels consistently whimsical.
Scope
• Create modular, game-ready environment pieces that can be mixed and matched to form varied fantasy levels.
• Stylized textures that match the cartoon direction—clean lines, bold palettes, and no photo-realistic details.
• Props to add character: trees, rocks, bridges, lanterns, foliage, small structures, and a handful of atmospheric VFX (e.g., twinkling lights, gentle mist).
• Deliver in widely supported formats (general 2D vector formats or PNGs/Spritesheets, etc. whichever you work in).
Acceptance
I’ll load the assets into my engine and check that textures and material assignments are correct, textures tile cleanly, and the overall style remains coherent across pieces.
If you enjoy crafting enchanting, cartoon-style worlds and can keep your asset library neatly organized, I’d love to collaborate. Let’s discuss your ideas and set a realistic milestone plan to get these visuals into the game.
----
TLDR: AI wrote most of the above. I'm a solo dev and recently started making my game. I just need some basic visuals (parallax layers, etc) to get started, but if things work out I'm going to need more stuff as it progresses.
