Unity Game Development: Core Components -- 2

Job ID: 38363725

Budget: $250 – $750 AUD

The game is a form of monster shop, where a user will be in control of a character, who sets up a shop.
Customers will visit the shop, and will give increasingly difficult requests on the type of monster they want. The game will be "3d" but permanently viewed as though 2d with a camera fixed at the players position.

The parts that will need coding are things like:
- a customer spawner - something that keeps track of the day, difficulty setting, and changes some of the requests of the customer to slowly ramp up, as well as the time (customers will not enter before shop is open, and will leave as shop closes.)
Customers will have to produce requests that need to be delivered, then pay the shop owner based on their mood (which will deteriorate with time), the quality of the monster, and the number of requests the monster fills.
- An indoor / outdoor area. The indoor will be the shop, that will have things that can be bought and have a fixed position (such as a cupboard). Outdoor structure will be a mix of fixed position and items that can be built where the player decides (these items will need position checking to ensure they are being built in a space that is allowed).
- An Ai shop assistant that can be bought. Assistant will do things like feed monsters, collect eggs, bring eggs inside, and if a specialised assistant do tasks specific to them, such as giving medicine to any monsters that fall sick, removing any monsters that have died, etc.
-Consumable items and an inventory: The player will be able to buy items that can be used from an inventory to give special effects such as faster speed, happier customers, etc.
- A 4 slot save / load option
- A real currency shop, for players to use real money to purchase packs for the game (paypal and credit card system to be used for the shop). The shop will also need to aquire information from something such as an MySQL database to update what is on sale, special images for the sales, etc.
You will NOT need to:
- Create the graphics / models, apart from turning a sprite sheet into an animated sprite.
- Create the game in its entirety
- Create models for the game (a stand in cube can be used for some things until models are produced.)
