PC Sports Strategy Game Design
Budget: $25 – $50 USD
I am currently on the lookout for a highly experienced and creative designer that can design a 2D strategy game for PC. The game is sports-focused, predominantly revolving around football and basketball scenarios.
Ideally, you should have the following:
- A lot of experience in 2D game design
- Specific knowledge on sports-themed games, especially football and basketball
- A good track record in designing strategy games for PC
Your roles will include making design decisions regarding how the game looks and feels, and more importantly, it's sports strategy approach. This will involve weaving in the rules and intricacies of football and basketball in a way that challenges the user's strategic thinking and decision making.
The project, outside of general programming requires developing a simulation engine. No live game play will be featured. So the simulation has to be in-depth, providing full stats for the user to immerse themselves in. Strategy is the primary goal, not live play. Next will be a ratings and progression model that allows the simulation to be conducted accurately.
Given the nature of the game, the project will be best suited to designers who are not just experienced in their field, but also have a deep understanding and passion for these sports. This knowledge will be crucial in ensuring the design reflects an accurate and engaging representation of the sports.
Further details will be provided for the contractor who stands out and asks the right questions.
Looking forward to hearing from talented designers ready to embark on this interesting project.
