Sailing Sim Project

I am thinking of doing an 18th century sailing/fighting sim. There are several in the market, but mine would be more focused on life aboardship, sailing, and smaller ships. I’ve got most of the controls and mechanics visualized, but I have zero experience with this sort of thing and would rather get it commissioned. I have no patience haha. I have no idea how much it should cost so I’m open for anything. Should be single player for my own use so not like a profit thing, but if possible there may be some multiplayer mechanics for friends of mine.
