Playtest a PC game and record voice commentary
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I need PC players or even ideally game developers who are experienced with the turn-based strategy genre (games like Heroes of Might and Magic 3, XCom, Civilization, Into the Breach, Panzer General, Battle for Wesnoth, Advanced Wars, Darkest Dungeon, Banner Saga etc).
I'll provide the link to download the game.
Your task is to play it for 3 hours and do a screen recording of that whole session with your voice commentary about the issues you see in the game, your impressions, what you'd change/improve. Like you would be doing a letsplay video or a video review of a game for Youtube. On Windows 10, press Windows+G key to open screen recording interface.
Then share the video file with me using some file sharing service (e.g. Google Drive). This video is just for my internal usage, so I don't care about the quality of the video as long the UI text is still legible.
I've set low default music and sound volume so that your voice were heard over the game's audio. Don't set them higher. And make sure you mic has high recording volume.
You can do this in several sittings. Just make sure to record the whole time you play. I need fresh experience of a new player.
Title of the game:
Violations Will Be Punished
Description:
A turn-based strategy game with a philosophical story set in the dystopian 23rd century Solar System. You start as a cog in a corporation, search for meaning, and eventually become the mastermind of humanity.
This game makes fun of authoritarian systems, consumerism and mediocrity.
You are a cog at a mega-corporation Space Mining in the 23rd century Solar System. Your existence is meaningless. If you don't behave they "recycle" you. Then you defect to other factions... And betray them all to become the benevolent mastermind of the world.
In turn-based strategy genre:
- gather minerals and produce new units like in an RTS game. But it's turn-based, and it works
- dozens of hours of content (6 factions, 8 campaigns, 100+ missions)
- adjustable difficulty: can be enjoyed both by TBS veterans, RTS players, and casual players
- create your own missions, units and factions in the in-built editors
- skirmish mode with hotseat multiplayer
Let's make the Solar System a better place!™
