Islamic Strategy Board Game Design

Job ID: 40065036

Budget: $30 – $250 AUD

DO NOT GIVE ME BOT OFFERS OR INTEREST IF YOU CANNOT DO WHAT I NEED.

I’m developing a tabletop experience that will immerse teenage players in the richness of Islamic religious teachings while challenging them with deep strategic choices. The vision blends a classic board-and-pieces format with cards and dice, encouraging thoughtful planning, tactical interaction, and memorable storytelling.

Where I need your expertise is in transforming the core idea into a polished, play-ready product. You’ll guide the full design cycle: refining the central objectives linked to Qur’anic values and Prophetic stories, mapping out balanced mechanics that reward smart decisions, and specifying components so they feel authentic and visually appealing to a modern teenage audience. My goal is an intellectually stimulating game that can sit proudly alongside other mainstream strategy titles, yet remain firmly rooted in Islamic ethos.

Deliverables I’ll be looking for:
• Complete ruleset with clear win / loss conditions, turn structure, and advanced variants.
• Prototype-ready board layout, card set, custom dice symbols, and any tokens or miniatures required.
• Graphic direction notes (theme palettes, calligraphy or iconography suggestions) to hand off to an illustrator.

A solid grasp of Islamic history and scholarship is essential so religious references land accurately and respectfully; experience with games such as Monopoly, Risk, or small-box strategy titles will help ensure the design stays engaging. If you’ve published or prototyped similar work, please share rulebooks, photos, or Tabletop Simulator links so I can see how you structure mechanics and theme.

I’m ready to start as soon as I find the right partner and will stay involved through weekly reviews to keep momentum high.
